Thread: Bad conditions of roads!

Road are in very very bad condition of Hyderabad. Road repairs should not be done as it was promised by the state government since long time. Road repairs are really creating head ache for the people of Hyderabad. Areas like narayanaguda, kachiguda, and secundrabad to tarnaka main road are always found in bad conditions or in repairing mode. GHMC made a big 4 lane road from lalaguda x road to lb nagar for better traveling to Shamshabad airport. Despite of wide road, a lot of accidents take place. Most of the accidents happened because of the road repairing work that is been there since long and no results are found. Don't know when the government will pay any heed to this issue.

The works of government undertaking are always in the same condition. The main reason for this is government does not clear funds to the contractors and the contractors do not start off their work without any payments. And finally, the sufferers are the common people in the city who have to use the roads in worn off conditions.

The condition of roads are becoming deteriorated and it gets worse at the time of monsoon seasons when the rain water get clogged on the roads and make eh roads more disastrous. It gives the road over all bad condition due to the left out work which is given to contractors to build the roads by the govt. These roads then become an accident prone areas and bikes, cars as well as other commuting vehicles gets skid in the mud. People have to pay for all the carelessness done on the part of government.

@greatindian, I agree with you that government are out of their funds. The government should concern about funds while they were signing for new projects but repair costs will be worked with few amount as not much is required for the repairing done in the state. I do not agree that they actually do not have that much funds in their hands. New projects are developing quite fast in hyderabad but the old repairs are not at all are concerned. GHMC is all concerned with metro rail project in hyderabad but not showing interest towards repairs
