With Anna Hazare's crackdown, his team broke in nation-wide protest movements demanding release of the social activist, plus voicing support to Anna's strong Lokpal Bill against corruption. Hazare's native village Ralegan Siddhi in Maharashtra, even observed a bandh and decided to fast in lieu of expressing solidarity with Anna.
