Thread: The Islamic culture in India

Every culture has its own history. The islamic culture or hindu culture and even jain culture, all teaching of all cultures are almost same and preaches peace throughout the nation and people. The Islamic influences came to India with the raids of Mahmud of Ghazni in 1026 AD. This is the time when Somnath temple was plundered in Kathiarwar area of Gujarat.

Ever since Islams came to India, the culture slowly started spreading its wings in the country. Many monuments were constructed over the time, to name a few Taj Mahal, Qutub Minar, and Charminar, etc. And during the course of time islamic culture became part and parcel of Indian culture. Today we can find good number of Islamic people living in India where the values are Indian though they follow their own religion.
