Sanskrit is one of the oldest languages dating back to BC era and it is India's precious asset. We should act to preserve this language by all means. This can be done by introducing the language in the academics of school going students. Even media should take part in promoting Sanskrit language because media is very much efficient in influencing people.

Seriously we need to!! Sanskrit is very important language for India and the world. Not that just it is an old language, but it is the language of Ancient India, which was once rich in culture, arts, science and philosophy. All this was done in Sanskrit. And most of the words today in English, as well as other languages are derived from Sanskrit. We should not let it perish away in vain. What steps could we probably take to keep it in vogue?
