Thread: Night life of Delhi: getting hotter !!

The night life of delhi is getting hotter with each passing day. I think it is completely destroying the Indian culture and tradition in which we are bought up and I actually do not undertstand for what reason people are changing themselves from indian traditional culture to embracing the western culture? What is wrong with indian culture? Does revealing body make any sense or people are more in to showing skin just like western people? You will see many girls and boys hugging, kissing in public and wearing extremely short dresses to lure any men. This is the culture that people are embracing these days! I actually am against such things,

night life of Delhi pubs and bars are not getting hotter in fact they are getting dirty with all dirty dances and dresses. People are embracing the western culture at its height. Western culture is not all about being dirty and showing skin. It is their culture and our culture is different. People especially youngsters are making it dirty on the name of western culture.

@economist: yes, you are absolutely right in this regard. The people are becoming shameless because of the increase in the pubs and the advent of the western culture. The impact of western culture is quite high on today's youth and they have started using the abbreviation of everything from mummy to mum and from daddy to dad. They have changed the college language as well as made it more short which is not correct grammatically but they like it that way. Talking about the dance part they are more inclined towards the show off in terms of skin, money, and style.

@sweetagel: I am not against skin show to some extent but I believe that whatever the girls are wearing in the night clubs should be decent enough to bear the burden of their traditional cultural values. When you embrace any culture then you should know the value of that culture and must not make it dirty that spoils the decency of that culture as well. Western culture is not bad as people adapt it and portrays it. It simply says its bold enough to carry themselves. I believe that night clubs are forgetting everything in the darkness of lust and giving a western culture a complete new definition.
