'english education has enslaved us' - said mahatma gandhi. he said it had created a sense of inferiority complex in the minds of indians. he also said that it had made the western culture look superior. he wanted that the indian languages should be the medium of education. do you think he is right?

In a way it could be right, but that would seclude our nation from rest of the world. The reason why India is playing a bigger role in globalization is because we have embraced the English language and culture well. However if we were to follow mahatma gandhi's advice, India would have struck with the age-old practices and superstitions. Think about it.
