Thread: Growing craze of live-in relationships among students!

The craze of live-in relationship is growing between the students and people of young age who are working in offices. How far is it apt to follow the western culture and living in this way before marriage. When a boy and a girl lives together as a partner in one house then they are considered living in as a live-in relationship. What are your views in this way?

I think we Indians are not quite prepared to embrace such kind of culture. We still have youngsters living with parents until their graduation and i find this live-in relationship way too fast forward step which could have negative impacts in our Indian society. Please share your views on this!

Live-in relationships are not acceptable in Indian society but it is seen that especially students who goes to the metro cites for pursuing their studies, prefer staying with their partners rather than staying in hostels or pgs or with their friends. It is surely going to have negative impacts on the Indian society.

We belong to a country of vast culture and traditions,where live-in relations are not much accepted.However the real scenario is -do today's youngsters even bother if their relationships are being accepted?no doubt this has negative impacts on the society and on the upcoming generations,but do we have any measures to stop it completely?Youngsters say its "their" personal life if they want to stay with their partners before marriage but whats so personal if that affects the public.Share some measures to stop this else start living with it with full acceptance!remember:this way we will loose our ethics and even after years of independence western influence still controls us!
