Point and Shoot cameras are basically the entry level digital cameras. Although, these are entry level cameras, some of the Point and Shoot cameras comes bundled with all advanced technologies. These cameras are not very costly but the price depends on the functions, features, lens and image sensor. One of the best Point and Shoot camera below Rs.10,000/- according to me is Nikon Coolpix S6300. This camera comes with a price tag of Rs. 9,950/-. This point and shoot camera is equipped with a 1/2.3-in.type CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semi Conductor) image sensor with an effective image resolution of 16 megapixels. It has an ISO sensitivity of 3200, which makes this camera perfect for capturing high-quality image. NIKKOR lens with 10x optical zoom, supported by up to 4x digital zoom is used in this camera. The focal distance of the lens ranges from 4.5-45.0mm with an aperture of f/3.2-5.8. The shutter speed of this camera 1/2000-1 s 1/4000-1/120 s. The aperture, shutter speed and the ISO sensitivity of this camera is great and together facilitates in optimized exposure to the photographic image that delivers high-quality images. It comes with amazing features like electronic vibration reduction, which prevents blurring of images, which is caused due to wobbly handling as well as for various other reasons. Facebook offers social networking platform and advertisement channel service where as Google is a powerful search engine, infact it has become synonymous to the word "search engine". It also offers social platforms like google plus and advertisement services Google Adwords. However the growth of the company as such seems to be high in case of Facebook which is 25% annually. Analysts speculate that Facebook would beat Google in a decade from now on. What are your views on this?

Sony brings to you its all new Xperia Z that can take a plunge in the water and still work fine. This feature as made everyone awestruck and this is something that other phones miss out on. This is Sony’s high-end phone that is not just water proof but also dust resistant and comes with IP55 and IP57 certification. This phone comes with a price tag of Rs. 38,790/- and is loaded with some amazing features.
Features
Coming to features, this phone has a 5-inch display with 1920 x 1080p pixel resolution, which has a super-high pixel density of 441 ppi that delivers crystal clear visuals but not as good as expected even with BRAVIA Engine 2. Besides this, there are two new special Sony apps that comes with Xperia Z. Sony LIV is available on the Play Store and lets you stream TV shows of SAB, Sony Entertainment and Max. All the other features are being customized and made user-friendly. There is a minor change in the on-screen QWERTY keyboard but that is quite negligible.
The Xperia Z from Sony is well-equipped with all the necessary features. It is powered by Snapdragon S4 Pro with four Krait cores clocked at 1.5 GHz and Adreno 320 GPU, which makes playing games an amazing experience. It has a 2GB RAM along with 16 GB internal storage that can be expanded with a microSD card. This is indeed quite a power-packed phone with all up-to-date features. In terms of connectivity options, this phone has everything you may ever need, including high-speed HSPA+ connectivity (up to 42.2 Mbit/s down) and LTE.

Samsung GALAXY S4 Vs Blackberry Z10 Vs Apple iPhone 5

The advent of Smartphone has revolutionized the whole concept of mobile phones. Today, the mobile phone market is overflowed with Smartphones from...

The advent of Smartphone has revolutionized the whole concept of mobile phones. Today, the mobile phone market is overflowed with Smartphones from different companies and is available at a much lesser price as compared to the earlier times. Blackberry was one of the pioneers to introduce Smartphones. However, today there are companies like Samsung and Apple that tops the list as the manufacturers of Smartphones.

Samsung has come up with Galaxy S4 recently to give a tough competition to Apple that launched iPhone 5 last year and Blackberry is no longer behind. It has launched its new Z10. All the three Smartphones comes loaded with features but has their own share of merits and demerits and comparing the three is not worth but if you take a look on all the three, each of them has areas that are advantageous over other.

Design
BlackBerry Z 10, Apple iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S4 comes in a beautiful design. Apple’s iPhone 5 comes in a sleek, compact and elegant design. The design looks classy as well as chic. Although, Z10 from BlackBerry has a similar design as iPhone 5 but has failed to meet the quality that iPhone 5 has. Samsung’s Galaxy S4 is little bulky and with its plastic shell and does not look as expensive as it should have. But, the glossy and smooth plastic casing that has rounded edges makes it easy to hold, which adds to its design but even S4 cannot compete with iPhone 5 in terms of its looks and design.

Display
Coming to display, Galaxy S4 has a 5 inch Full HD AMOLDED display with a screen resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. This Smartphone with 5 inch display makes watching videos and playing 3D games an amazing experience. Z10 has 4.2-inch 768 x 1280 LCD display delivers the higher pixel density of 356 ppi. iPhone 5 screen size of 4 inch with a resolution of 1136x640 pixels with LCD Retina Display. Although, it delivers a natural and clear picture quality, Galaxy S4 has a better display with magnificent contrast and saturated colours. The viewing angles of iPhone 5 seem to be better than S4 and Z10 but both Z10 and iPhone 5 can be viewed in the dark. Nevertheless, Z10 cannot match the clarity offered by iPhone 5.

Interface and Functionality
When it comes to interface and functionality, it becomes a little hard to compare the three as each of them is built in different platforms. The operating system of Z10 is quite similar to iPhone 5 and is powered by BB10 OS.The operating system of S4 is Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and iPhone 5 runs on the latest iOS 6. S4 has Samsung’s TouchWiz Nature interface, which customizes the entire experience and adds numerous distinctive features like Smart Stay, Dual Shot, Air View and lots more of which some of them are useful and others are not. Android, as we all know is feature rich and works seamlessly. Similarly, BB10 also provides a good interface with various transition as well as animation. Whereas, Apple iOS is easy to use and has a more user-friendly interface but the keyboard of Z10 seems to be better than the both. Moreover, organizing emails on BlackBerry Z10 is much easier than the other two as it is considered to be one of the best Business phones in the market.

Processor and Memory
Coming to processor, Galaxy S4 is powered by either quad-core 1.9 GHz Snapdragon 600 chipset, or the octa-core 1.6 GHz Exynos 5 Octa chipset, where both the processors are quite powerful and is capable of running more specs and features. The RAM of this phone is 2 GB, which is amazing and allows the phone to work smoothly. Z10 is powered by dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus chipset with 2GB of RAM. While, iPhone 5 is not loaded with as much features and specs as S4 and is powered by dual-core 1.3 GHz A6 processor with 1 GB RAM. Both S4 and iPhone 5 comes in 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB internal memory, respectively but Z10 comes with just 16 GB internal storage. However, the internal memory of S4 and Z10 can be increased via micro SD card, and iPhone 5 lacks on this.

Internet and Connectivity
Smartphones are popular for making internet accessible through phones. Both Samsung GALAXY S4 and Apple iPhone 5 supports 4 G LTE network along with HSPA+ with downlink speeds of up to 42.2 Mbit/s down. Whereas Z10 supports 4 G LTE and are available in CDMA and GSM versions that supports this network. All the three phones support Bluetooth 4.0, and Z10 has 5GHz 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi for connectivity. S4 has an IR blaster, which allows the handset to be used as a remote control for your television and Z10 comes with NFC, that gives it a up to date stroke.

Camera and Multimedia
Camera has been a major attracting feature of phone today and both the phones offer amazing camera. The S4 sports a 13 MP camera on the rear and a 2 MP camera on the front, whereas iPhone 5 and Z10, both has an 8 MP camera on the rear. Each of the phones has amazing features that makes. However, the camera of S4 rules over both Z10 and iPhone 5. In terms of Multimedia, iPhone 5 from Apple outstands both the phones from Samsung and BlackBerry, respectively.

Verdict
Although, the rest of the features cannot be compared as each of them has their own advantages. In my opinion, if you are looking for a good business phone, then BlackBerry Z10 is the ideal one to meet all your needs. If you are tech-savvy, then Samsung GALAXY S4 suits you the best. However, going by looks, user-friendliness and other features, Apple iPhone 5 is matchless.

Which of these Smartphones according to you is the best one?

With Smartphones creating buzz in the market, Micromax launches its new A115 3D Smartphone of the Canvas series. Although, LG and HTC have tried...

With Smartphones creating buzz in the market, Micromax launches its new A115 3D Smartphone of the Canvas series. Although, LG and HTC have tried their hands on 3D phone, they could not succeed owing to the high price and lack of features. The Micromax A115 Canvas 3D comes with an attractive price tag of Rs. 9,999/-, loaded with advance features.

Design
The A115 Canvas 3D from Micromax is quite bulky as compared to the other Canvas series phones. This handset has a similar design as A110 Canvas 2. It is 11mm thick and weighs 188gm, which makes this phone a little heavy to carry as well as quite thick that makes it pretty uncomfortable to hold. However, the matt finish at the back with a chrome logo, makes this phone presentable. It comes with a 5 inch TFT display with Naked Eye 3D technology with resolution of 480 x 800 (188ppi) pixels, which is quite less as compared to the huge screen. The sharpness of the display is not good as the screen resolution is relatively low as it should have been in a 5 inch display.

Features
The Canvas 3D is powered by a MediaTek MT6577 SoC, the same chipset that is used in the Canvas 2 A110 and runs on a 1GHz processor. The operating system used in this 3D Smartphone is the latest Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, which runs smoothly as well as fast and has a 512MB RAM. The onboard internal storage of this phone is 4GB, which is relatively less as the actually usage memory is merely 930MB. Coming to the actually USP of this phone, i.e. the 3D, Micromax has installed an exquisite gallery app, named 3D Space which lets you access photos, games, YouTube and videos in 3D. Indigenous 3D content looks fine but the sweet-spot for viewing it properly without sullying your eyesight is very limited and thus two people cannot watch a 3D video together with ease. Moreover, the screen also darkens relatively as soon as the parallax barrier boots in to produce the 3D effect. Contrasting active shutter glasses, where both eyes see a complete frame, on this phone one eye sees half the horizontal pixel count, which cause trouncing in detail. The chipset can easily handle a 3D 1080p movie though with very minor stutter, the video plays just okay. There also an option for converting existing images to 3D and the depth can as well be adjusted. However, the display is incapable of producing a crisp 3D image owing to the low pixel count and this is a drawback of the phone as it is the USP of this Smartphone from Micromax.

Media
Coming to media, the audio of the phone is extremely average and it has speakers built-in in the rear. The sound quality is still not amazing, even with a good pair of earphones or headphones and it still cannot avert the outside noise. This phone can play videos smoothly up to 720p, which can play MP4 videos with ease but has problems playing videos at AVI, MKV, etc. format in MX player. The colour production as well the viewing angle is not very satisfactory even in 2D format.

Connectivity
The A115 Canvas 3D from Micromax supports dual band 2G network and single band 3G network for connectivity. This phone comes bundled with other connectivity features, which include Wi-Fi ‘n’, Bluetooth v4.0 and USB plug-and-play support. It also features apps that include Play Store, M! Store, M!Zone and File Manager, M! Buddy and HookUp along with games like TheDarkMan and Fruit Devil.

Camera and Battery
The Micromax Canvas 3D sports a 5 MP camera on the rear and a VGA camera in the front, which enables video calling. However, by having a single sensor camera, taking 3D image is little difficult. The video recording can be done with 720p, which is just fine but seeing the price tag, the camera seems to be fine if 3D images are not taken. This phone is powered by a 2000mAh battery, which lasts for 8 hrs.

Verdict
The all hyped out phone from Micromax, Canvas 3D is just a fine phone, which comes bundled with features. However, it thoroughly lacks on providing a good 3D effect, which is the USP of this phone. Nevertheless, seeing the price tag, which is just Rs.9,999, this phone can be purchased but you should not expect something amazing out of it.Incomparison its predecessors were better .

The Smartphone market is today flooded with new phones with advanced technology and owing to this reason, the competition among the companies manufacturing Smartphones are increasing. Both Samsung and Apple have been rivals since quite sometime and both the companies have come up with two great phones one after the other.

Apple has launched iPhone 5 last year and Samsung has come up with Galaxy S4 recently to give a tough competition to Apple. Both the Smartphones are amazing and has their own pros and cons and comparing both does not make much of a sense but obviously, if you take a closer gaze both has areas that are advantageous over the other.

Design
Both Apple iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S4 comes in a beautiful design. Apple’s iPhone 5 comes in a sleek, compact and elegant design. The design looks classy as well as chic. Whereas, Samsung’s Galaxy S4 is little bulky and with its plastic shell, it does not look as costly as the price tag.
Display
Both the phones have an amazing display. Galaxy S4 has a 5 inch Full HD AMOLDED display with a screen resolution of 1920x1080 pixel. This Smartphone with 5 inch display makes watching videos and playing 3D games an amazing experience. Whereas, iPhone 5 has a slightly smaller display, which has a screen size of 4 inch with a resolution of 1136x640 pixels. Although, it delivers a natural and clear picture quality, Galaxy S4 has a better display with magnificent contrast and saturated colours. The viewing angles of iPhone 5 seem to be better than S4 and also have a brighter outdoor display that gets darker, making it apt for using at night.

Interface and Functionality
When it comes to interface and functionality, it becomes a little hard to compare as both are built in different platforms. The operating system on which S4 runs is Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and iPhone 5 runs on the latest iOS 6. S4 runs on Samsung’s TouchWiz Nature interface, which customizes the entire experience and adds numerous distinctive features like Smart Stay, Dual Shot, Air View and lots more of which some of them are useful and others are not. Android, as we all know is feature rich and works seamlessly. Whereas, Apple iOS is easy to use and has a more user-friendly interface as well as simple for a person to use who is not very tech-savvy. However, for someone who is tech savy and wants a lot of software on their phones and other electronic devices, Android is the perfect one.

The RAM of this phone is 2 GB, which is amazing and allows the phone to work seamlessly. Both S4 and iPhone 5 comes in 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB internal memory, respectively. However, the internal memory of S4 can be further increased by installing a micro SD card, whereas iPhone 5 lacks on this.

Internet and Connectivity
Smartphones are popular for making internet accessible through phones and both these phones supports 4 G LTE network along with HSPA+ with downlink speeds of up to 42.2 Mbit/s down. Both the phone supports Bluetooth 4.0, by S4 has an IR blaster, which allows the handset to be used as a remote control for your television.
