Importance of Yoga
In India we Consider Yoga as a philosophy and a way of life. It is a process which helps one live in an integrated & Healthy way, harmonising all aspects of life. Yoga can bring in a healing touch to the ailments of the body and can provide a soothing effect to the mind apart from rejuvenating the spirit. It is a physical exercise which offers a spiritual experience and mental calmness. It is an art of body and mind and at the same time it is a well proved Medical science which can contribute to the wellness of physical being of a person.
yoga History can be traced back to ancient ages and it was part of the Indus Valley civilization. There are a lot of ancient sages and scholars who contributed to the development of this discipline. ``Practising yoga helps in controlling the body and mind; yoga and meditation allows you to transcend to a spiritual realm, which in turn will again contribute to your physical and mental wellness,’’ says Sajeendranath, who practices yoga daily.
The relaxing and soothing effect that the yoga provides is beyond comparison, say those who experienced it. Ancient scholars of the healthcare sector in India understood the relevance of such an art and incorporated it in our traditional healthcare system called Ayurveda. Ayurveda uses yoga mainly while treating many lifestyle diseases and it is an integral part of spondylitis ayurvedic treatment and stress-busting therapies.

Yoga is a curative therapy. It helps in bringing flexibility to the body and relaxes the mind from stress. It was dicovered in the India in the ancient time which is provided in the Ayurveda. Yoga is now popular in the wester countries as well as it provides a healing effect. Practicing yoga can keep away a lot of ailments and acts as curative agent for dieases like high blood pressue, scinucitis, asthama etc.
