    Default When was Buddha born?

    The name of Buddha was Sidhharth when he was a child. He does not preach any god but believe in one god of all. Buddha was a saint. Buddha was born on 563 BC at Lumbini near Kapilvastu in Nepal which formed a part of the Ancient India. His mother, Mahamaya passed away a week after his birth and so he was raised by stepmother Gautami.

    Lord Gautam Buddha was born in 623 BC in Lumbini and this is one of the most sacred places of all Buddhists
