The Mughal Empire in India began with Babur who defeated Ibrahim Lodi. His memoir Tazuk-i-Baburi in Turkish is a world classic. Humayun his son divided his kingdom amog his three brothers and fell prey to politics. He lost his kingdom and regained it. He died due to an accident in his library. His half sister, Gulbadan wrote Humayun-nama, his biography.

The fall of the Mughals was quite evident in the past. Shahjahan’s reign is considered to be the Golden Era of the Mughal Dynasty. He built the famous Tajmahal, Moti Masjid, Jama Masjid, Red Fort... etc. These are hot tourist spots even today for people all around the world.
