Law on vehicle mileage ?
When we buy a vehicle we are promised of its mileage ? if we do not get that mileage can we sue the vehicle company in India ?
today the cost the fuel is high, we pay higher price for vehicles to give us better mileage, in such a case, can we ask the company to give back the price we paid, or get a replacement or get compensation ?

I think that is practically impossible!! Because the mileage depends on various factors. The company claims the mileage UNDER TESTED CONDITIONS with a small star mark which most of us fail to observe. And the conditions in which they test the mileage is a treadmill sort of machine on which the bike is made to run. Therefore the friction and strain on the bike is negligible which is the reason why bike can run more.
