Default Return to India trend in NRIs

In the last five years, the graph of NRIs returning to India is following an increasing trend. Every year, thousands of NRIs or PIOs are leaving their country of residence and heading towards India for India to settle permanently. There are several reasons behind this reverse or NRI's Return to India Trend. Some of them are, increasing importance of India in global scenario as an emerging and technological superpower, lower rate of land and favorable policies of Indian government for NRIs and PIOs to want to comeback permanently.

If we analyze the immigration trend of from 1950-1985, we can draw conclusion that two types of people were leaving country. The first category was the elite ones who were technically sound and possessed higher qualification. They were leaving India because salary available in Western countries and USA were highly lucrative compared to India. The second category of immigrants was unskilled ones who did not find job on regular basis in India. However, both the problems were sorted out with the economic growth of India. India is now the Hub of IT outsourcing. Several institutes for research and development activities have been instituted in last two decades. Along with, the industrialization has also been done in a faster manner. Hence, for immigrants the same opportunities are available w at back home. Hence, the trend of NRIs returning India for permanent settlement and NRI Investment in India Property is gaining momentum.

The second important factor NRIs Returning to India is the lower real estate price in Indian Metros compared to other big cities of India. Metros are now equipped with all amenities that match to the global standard. Hence, NRIs are not hesitating to come back India and settle down here.

Third Important factor NRIs Return 2 India is the favorable government policies. Indian government has provided several advantages to NRIs and PIOs willing to come back India permanently. Some of them are exemption of wealth tax for 7 years, en of tax on the money or asset the person has brought back and the assets acquired by the person within one year of return. All these above factors are attracting more and more NRIs and PIOs for homecoming.

as long as India is at the steady growth graph and Indian government policies are supportive of non residents of India, NRIs will keep looking back and the NRI return graph will further expand.
in a country like India, where health, wealth and culture, all are prevalent, anybody would love to return to the motherland, although the gleam and shine of the west might allure the youth for a while.
