Why only women?

The expectation of a family is always more from women than from men. If a woman wants to pursue their career, they need to do the regular errands of home along with their demanding job. Give time to everyone, see that everyone is happy and yet do not complain. But if man is pursuing his career are there same expectation fro him as well. The point of scarifies comes because one cannot take care of everything and since they do not much of helping hand, they have to choose one, and then of course family takes the first priority

I think it is one of the fundamental rights of a woman. We should not interfere in her rights. Just banning abortion or gender selection, we not solve this problem. The market for abortion will be driven underground.
This is like the problem of cigarette. We know that cigarette kills, but we cannot outlaw it.

well, it is very obvious and know thing that women in india make sacrifices in their married lives. the question will be carried out to several other generations as people are slowly becoming aware of the irrationalities prevailing over the society and trends. the question needs to be asked to the elders who force women to do so because during their times it was a culture.
