Thread: Are celebrities really worth it?

According to a report published in one of the leading newspaprs of the country... As Katina Kaif could not perform due to health issues at an event in Dubai, her mere presence and Hi-Hello was estimated around 80 lac bucks!!!

LOLs.. I did not know that they charge this much :O but still they sacrifice a lot and work really hard to stay in limelight.. I do not think that they are doing something wrong if they re charging this much,. You should ask to those people who are willing to give such a big amount :P

They don't deserve this much.. but I guess everyone has its value and it can not be estimated.. no matter its a celebrity but they should also not take things for granted and make such a huge statement..

YE sthey are worth it! Its up to you that how you rate yourself.. and if you are talented and people love watching you and admire you and most of all if they are giving you the price you are demanding than whats the problem in that?

YEs they worth it! and why not.. they do everthing what a 9 to 9 job official do... they work hard day and night, sacrifice a lot in terms of emotional bonding, family and have to face people's comment .. they lose their normal life of being a human.. they really worth it..

i dont think celebrities are really worth so much hype. their hype is acceptable to a certain extent but extravagant behavior of media and people is uncalled for. there are many other people and issues to look after for. people should not treat them as gods of their life. they are just the part of our entertainment world.

at some point of time they are do worth because if they are used for a good cause, they do mean a lot. but other than that i dont think so they need any extra coverage. indian media should confine such news to the entertainment news and the general nation news should concentrate on more important topics.
