    Default Culture of Maharashtra

In Maharashtra, most of the people are Hindus which contribute to 82% of the state’s population. There are other groups of people too, like the Muslims who are mostly Sufis, Buddhists who follow Babasaheb Ambedkar, and even Parsis also known as Zoroastrians who are mainly found in this state. The state celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi as the major festival every year.
