They can actually play a important role in curbing crime by showing the methods of how to tackle terrorism and protect the safety of various things and people. but they will not do as they have taken up media as a business these days.

In my view media is not playing a role in curbing crime rather it is escalating the crime by showing the various ways of committing crime. Media plays a vital role in escalating juvenile crime. It attracts the youth by presentation of the unconventional way of life which eventually lend a hand for committing various crimes. The want of having such a life and unable to afford it force them to commit crimes. Also the television programs and the news channels, presenting certain serials and reports attracts the youth to try new thrills eventually end up committing crime.

Media should stop showing such programs on televisions in order to stop crime that is increasing at a fast pace in the society.
