Thread: Indian Media needs to be Regulated

With only one statutory body i.e. Press council of India, entitled to supervise and regulate Indian media, the issue of regulating Indian media on content and quality remains in question. Do you think we should have more bodies to regulate Indian media than just to leave it on mere self regulation? Please share your views!

Yes, I do think that there should be more bodies to regulate Indian media than just to leave it on only self regulation. PCI,the only body entitled to supervise all the media issues cannot be justified. The work load needs to be distributed by creating more bodies for supervising and regulating Indian Media for its better functioning and enhancing the quality and content.
