Thread: Bhakhra Dam under threat!

Recently the government received intelligence inputs from the security agencies that the world famous Bhakhra Nangal Dam in Punjab is under threat from the various terrorist groups. As we know this dam is life line of many North Indian states.

I think security forces and government should act on this because the intelligence system of india works very hard to gather such intel, and if government authorities fail to act on this, it could lead to a national damage. We cannot put our national resources at stake by being lame at taking action.

The Bhakhra Dam which is 740 feet high dam on the border of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh is on the hit list of Pakistan- based militant outfits Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jamaat-ud-Dawa, an Intelligence Bureau report was warned, prompting the Punjab and Himachal Pradesh governments to step up vigil.
