Thread: Simplified procedure of Schedule Caste Certificates

After receiving serious complaints about the difficulties being faced by genuine applicants in receiving SC certificates in Punjab the government has reduced bottleneck in getting such certificates. This was stated by a sate department for Schedule Castes and Backward Caste spokesperson.

Usually people face lot of trouble getting to the officers who provide the Caste certificates. Sometimes the officers are not available and other times there is a huge Que formation to get to the officer. It would be quite a relief to the people of punjab as now they can easily get hold of their SC certificates. This initiative from the punjab government's end is truly laudable.
