GoI is taking steps in this regard. In the meantime, what we have to understand is that we are a democratic country. Even if speedy laws in favor of development are to be enacted, this would go through the process of:
1. Introduction
2. Debate
3. Acceptance/ rejection.

Indian Media should come forward to raise the nationalist wave among Indians with emotional thrust in coming Commonwealth games. All private TV Channels with Doordarshan may form one consortium and relay the commonwealth package nationalist program clubbed with music of Lata Mangeshkar ,Pandit Ravishankar, MR Rahaman voice of Amitava Bacchan,sports performance of Leander Peas, Sachin Tendulkar, Milkha Singh, P.T Usha, Baichung Bhutia, Saurav Ganguli , Kapil dev & others national athletes who will definitely give their best for national interest without remuneration. Sports Ministry should come forward to lead.

Print Media can also contribute to motivate 1.2 billion Indians for such Mega events.

Yes, the Indian media can play a significant role to create a wave of nationalism in the Commonwealth Games that we are going to organize. It's the time to show to the whole world that we are not lagging behind. We can create an elevated platform to bid for the Olympics too if Commonwealth Games is held maintaining the international standards.
