    Angry Human RIGHTS organizations

Whenever our country comes across a critical situation at the attack of terrorist and the accused are arrested or killed, we can hear hue and cry of a number of so-called Human rights organisations. Often they debate for the human right of the criminals or the persons accused in bomb blast and other heinous crimes. It’s the time to think on this matter seriously

What do these so-called human rights organizations in India (we are not talking about all the organizations) want? Their acts and attitude make us believe that they need nothing but publicity. Act of terrorism and arrest of accused are the incidents widely covered by media. And these organizations just want to get the media attention by advocating for human rights of the accused. They are sure that media will publish their comments and initiatives or photos. What we think that association of media should stop to give converge to such publicity seeking people or organizations.

Hundreds of security personals are killed by the terrorist at different parts of our country. Did such organization ever talk about the human rights of these soldiers? Are they not human beings? They defend our country risking their lives. When you can’t tolerate 10 degree temperature in Delhi, the security personals carry out their duties at (-20) degree temperature at Siachen Glacier. They are the people who rush to the spot to save us when the security of our nation is at risk. Should these human rights organizations not talk about their rights too? When these security personnel are killed by the terrorists where do these so-called India's human rights organizations hide?

    Default Very truly said brother

Very truly said brother, even the govt. doesn't treat them properly. But news media is responsible for that, because only high army officials come on TV. How many times have you seen program on Army's brave people on news channels. I can't remember any, & why is it that media always running after actors & actress & cricketers who are doing no good to human life? Isn't media using these people to sell their own channels public for high TRP's?

I think this type of development where Villagers dhoti's are torn off & finally snatched & foreign made pants are forced onto them should be stopped. We must know that a development is permanent if it goes along with culture but useless if it tries destroy our cultural traditions.

Hence I say Stop buying imported items & Don't let foreigners take up our natural resources & sell us back at an elevated cost on the name of modern machines. Encouraging our Engineers for research & keeping our resources for bad times is what is most required at this stage.

    Default Serving the people

Although each and every right is applicable to each and every citizen of a country, some do need the help. The poor are totally controlled and are not able to do a single thing of their own choice. Here’s where the human rights organizations can help. They provide financial and judiciary support to the dominated.

    Thumbs up A helping hand

In the present times it’s the NGO’s and human rights organizations that really do some productive work. The government is there only to get more and more corrupted and do nothing about the degenerating state of affairs. The human rights organizations help those who are in real trouble. The media has been a boon in this respect, searching news and in a way busting corruption.

Sorry but I disagree. There were 1.2 Million NGOs in India back in 2002. You can imagine the number now. I have seen working of few NGOs and they just work for money too.

They take (majority of them...not all) few snaps or organize seminars or publish something, everything on records to get funds from Government, Public, Foreign Aids, Corporates, etc.

If check is needed on government then such organizations are not very far behind in this front.
