Thread: Is this the end of terrorism?

Osama Bin Laden, the terror head and the lord of terrorist activity is finally dead but do you think that it is the end of terrorism? I do not think so. But yes to some extent a full stop has been put on the activities. Apart from Osama there are many other terrorists groups that are prevailing in other parts of the country and neighbor.

Government like US and other strong and powerful countries including india should take actions against it.

I personally do not think that the death of Osama Bin Laden is the end of terrorism. In the mean time of 10 years before his death he would have made several Osamas in the town whee he was living. He was not just a terrorist he was the boss of all. And his mind played a great role in spreading terror across the world. He was the master mind behind the Twin Tower attack and his terrorist skills were unbeatable. I don't think that after his death the terror will be less in the world.

Terrorism is not going to end until we rise from our own little selfish interest. Have you ever thought that why there were no terror attack happened in US after 9/11? Because the people local people who have incorporated with the US government and loved their country like a true patriot. And why every now and then terror attacks happen in india? It is because we are not ready to give up the greediness and selfishness at any cost. We are not ready to co-operate with the IB or the govt of india. All these are the reasons behind such terror attacks. We have to rise from self.

What are you saying? terrorism can never be ended especially in india. people cooperate more with the terrorist then the government because they get money and they are ready to do anything for the same. I am completely agree with Sweetangel as we all have become selfish and can do anything for few bucks. It is mainly due to the poverty and people are so much poor that they hardly care about anyone's life and go where they see huge money coming up.

Terrorism is not run by a single person or any single organization. It is much more wider issue that what it seems to be. There are several organizations behind the terrorism which have spread across the world. Osama was merely a leader of one of the terror groups. We should not fall lenient on national security issues thinking that it is end of terrorism.

This is definitely not the end of terrorism. I completely agree with greatindia that terrorism is not run by single handed person as the support and contribution of thousands of people cross the nation are involved in these terror activities. Terrorism is something which is hated by the people but loved by the ones who consider is as their religion and link it with it!
